Description

These Parmesan Bread Bites are soft, flavorful, and perfect for dipping. Made from refrigerated pizza dough brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with parmesan cheese and herbs, they are an easy-to-make appetizer or snack that pairs wonderfully with marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough

  • 1 refrigerated pizza dough (store bought or homemade)

Topping and Seasoning

  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dried parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the bread bites.
  2. Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, dried parsley, and Italian seasoning. Mix well to blend all the flavors.
  3. Cut the Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches each.
  4. Brush with Garlic Butter: Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Generously brush each piece with the prepared garlic butter mixture.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese: Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over all the dough bites to ensure each gets a cheesy topping.
  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the bread bites are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a stronger garlic flavor, use fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
  • These bread bites are perfect to serve with marinara or any favorite dipping sauce.
  • You can substitute parsley with fresh chopped basil or omit it if unavailable.
  • If refrigerated dough is not available, homemade pizza dough can be used as a substitute.
  • Make sure to brush the bites generously with garlic butter for the best flavor and golden crust.
